So just installed new tweeters in the dash, while trying to reinstall the A-pillar on the passenger side the access cover on the handle won't snap back in. Looking to see if anyone has had an issue with this and a possible solution. I did remove the A-pillar again just to make sure I did it right the first time and everything fits nicely in place, besides the covers. The tabs are not broken, thanks in advance.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
They are really finicky. You have to be very careful to keep from bending the tabs. When it goes, it goes. It's just a matter of finding just the right angle.

Believe me, I have tried every way possible, but they just won't snap back in. I've been at it for 2 days now....

Did you swap the tweeter, and A pillar bolts?

    Ask me how I know...

They are the same diameter, but the tweeters are a hair shorter.

double check that you didn't get the tabs reversed. i fought with them for ever one time and realized I had got the tabs reversed, lol! like stated before be careful with those tabs, they are easy to bend.

The tabs on my truck actually are attached at one end, so I don't think that is the issue, but thank you, had me thinking...
