That's a horrible idea. What time?
What surprised me is how many of the expensive ones he has here. While there is some (bigger) money (than mine) out here, that stock just seems out of line with the income levels out here. I'd expect to see this in Loudon closer to DC or Maryland, not out here. There is not a single "work" truck in that line up. Go down to the Malloy Ford dealer and he has a separate lot for just work trucks, F150 and up, which seems more in line with the demand out here.

I think the lowest price I saw was $68K+ at 21 trucks. $1,428,000+ in inventory in just Tundra's. (Probably a lot closer to $1.5m).

From 2018 to the 2024 models, my sticker would be about $10k more for another Sport. I'd go for the Off Road this time around if I went for a 24 Taco. For me, I want to see how it handles and what the interior room differences are like. I wouldn't mind a little more room and a 6' bed. One day I'll get in one and see, but it won't be this first year or two.

That's insane. I think one of the local shops comes out to around $100 an hour for labor, which is a lot but also not $1200 for pads and rotors haha.

I got charged almost $400 to fix some wires a squirrel chewed through. It's a lot but I think somewhat reasonable considering they did a really good job and at least told me they inspected other wiring haha.

I ended up having to fix another chewed wire and other than accidentally loosening the fuel rail and getting a little bit of gas on the block it was fairly straight forward hahaha. Toyota uses some annoyingly thin wire and leaves the parts exposed right where they connect to something so had I not known how to solder I think $400 would be fair for that type of repair.

Yeah man truck has been paid off and we do all our own maintenance and my wife has now learned how to work on her runner. Saves money and learn how to fix if broken on the trail. Need a bigger garage though for all these tools i keep acquiring haha. Miss those old days though.

    Young or innocent?

Innocent for me. My truck had about 200 miles on the odometer in that pic. I had just started to peek into the rabbit hole.
