Access Cab and a Car Seat

2013 Tacoma Access Cab… need to fit a rear facing car seat in it, later a front facing, but for the rest of this year a rear facing seat.

What rear facing car seats actually fit in the Access Cab and small seats? Make and model.

Please, no stupid answers of buy a crew cab, get a Tundra, or it will be tight. I get that, but not replacing the truck when there is another car most times.
I know this isn’t popular, but I know it’s been done… more importantly, more affordable to keep what you have. I am 100% certain that a crew cab truck won’t keep the kid out of college or deprive him of a happy life.

Currently doing this, using a graco rear facing seat. I don’t have the model number but it works, doesn’t leave a lot of room for anyone in the passenger seat though. In the rare occasions that we take the Tacoma my wife sits behind me since there’s more room, normally we take the 4 runner or are driving separately for work/daycare so it works out pretty good.

 

I use the Britax B-Safe Gen 2 infant. Stellar safety rating and you can purchase multiple bases if needed. I do have to slide the passenger seat fairly far forward, But it definitely works with no issues.
