Not sure I'd do it with a 7", but a little duct tape would override that sumbitch. Tracking is bullshit. I understand the boss wants to make money, but my attitude has always been: You think you can do better? Show me! Otherwise STFU and leave me alone.

No, you dont (to the 255 and the 350P)

You want a Lincoln Powerwave 300C Advanced ... trust me. Having both (and most others) you want the PW 300C Advanced.

I really like the 210mp ... have a few of them and they work really well .... on 240V .... as long as you don't want to run cellulose rod.

Shoot me a message; gotta ask a favor though

Think you can get me an electrode or two? I keep forgetting to buy some but don't really want to buy just to try; Hypertherm 220669

I want to do a 1,000 pierce test (or more) and have a few other brands on hand

I will see what I have lying around .... 1000 pierces? I would be amazed if it made it that far.

Well, I run an average 800-900 pierces on my Hypertherm clone

Using a genuine Hypertherm electrode should technically net me the same (minimum) and several more

My tips I change out 2:1 so every 400-450 pierces I swap tips as the orifice begins to enlarge causing a slight bevel

That is pretty impressive. I dont think I ever got over 750 on conventional plasma .... granted, I typically work in the 1/4 - 3/8 range. What thickness are you testing on?

My testing would be a combined 3/16" down to 12 gauge mild steel; no thinner and no thicker

That's where "two" electrodes would come into play to utilize the 'median' pierce count of the two

I'm also only using 1.0mm tips (45 amp) and the most common gauge cut would be 10 gauge (which I run at 36 amps, 3/16" runs at 38 amps)

I spend a lot of time cutting, more often than I post about actually and I track everything since it allows me to figure out right away if something is "off"

My desiccant beads only get replaced about once every 2 weeks, and all the steel I get or own is clean. Hell, here's a picture of "scrap" I typically work with

Head a bit of trouble with this one. Got impatient and forgot to fully prep the material inside and out. Started welding it and it was super dirty. Had to cut it apart and clean all the material again. Ended up getting it all together.

Much better than having to reach under the table and use a nut.

Good morning all, just wanted to share the final result and thank you all who offered help and suggestions.
So I ended up finding a local welder and it was a bit of a headache dealing with this guy. What I had thought would be a same day job turned into 6 days of dodging my calls and texts until I had to show up at his house  definitely learned a lesson there and he won't be getting my business again! Anyways I'm glad that's over with and I got my pipe back so here is how it came out...

Overall, I'm happy I've finally got it back to normal working conditions.

For those who missed what it was before...

I make parts, think I've emphasized this a lot

But when one of the shops I make parts for wants a sign, I ain't saying no

They're getting a bigger shop (growing) so naturally, he wants something fresh and new to put up so I cut this today
