I did some research throughout the forums but couldn’t find the specific answer I was looking for.

I have a N/A stock 2013 TRD sport and I plan on adding URD LT headers and the cam gear.

If I install the URD LT headers to the stock exhaust, will I get the common “raspy” exhaust notes? Or is that more common when the exhaust is changed in addition to the headers?

You may not get the rasp. If you keep the oem exhaust from the y-pipe back, you’ll still have the rear cats which will most likely keep the rasp down.

Thanks for the reply, I just didn’t want to go through the hassle of the install then regret it later. I know many members have gone through that trial so thanks again for chiming in.

No worries. I’d honestly look into keeping the oem manifolds with the front cats. Instead look into doing a urd y-pipe. This deletes the rear cats, gives you a little more power, and no CEL. If you do the headers, you’ll have to hunt down a set of urd o2 simulators which they don’t make anymore…… you will need a set to not have a CEL if you do the headers.

Yes. As far as I know, a few years ago. They are no longer offered on the site.
