Once again I could see everyone but not join them, but they could join me. After playing a bit, I could join them. The pattern is elusive.

Those friend codes seem to go away if you leave that screen. I had to coordinate to get it to work, but it did work.

Meteor showers suck.

Helldivers is one of the best games released in a very long time. It was great before the patch yesterday. Now it's not quite as good. It's still a blast to play. I hit level 50 a couple days ago. With the new patch it's not as much fun. I never really used the rail gun so that didn't affect me. Now the Scorcher is about the best gun in the game as far as primaries go. But they ruined a lot of the game with random meteor showers. I don't mind getting killed by being overrun by enemies but I hate getting killed by something that is out of my control. I've got every weapon in the game and almost have the ship completely leveled up. It's kind of like Demon Souls with guns. I keep my guns on ADS because I don't like 3rd person shooters.

We played today and the bugs are just overwhelming. Good luck if you land in a bug breach. Your dead because you don't have time to pull out any stratigens. But it's still one of the best games I've played in a long time. The nerfs to some of the guns in a PVE game is kind of dumb but whatever. Still a great game. Well worth the money.

 

Just hit level 10 really enjoying the game definitely will be playing it for a long time.

Mortars, Mines, Grenade Launcher and Rover are laying waste to the Terminids lol.

Only died once and that's it; see ground light up? Move! Leap out the way.

 

I see there already working on a fix for the harder enemies and the amount spawning .

 

Have to say, using the railgun I see no issue with it (people upset it got nerfed)

Though I am noticing numbers of spawned automotons were much more than before; mostly do solo and find myself saving my orbital's for the end versus using them on the objectives/outposts

 

I run it in FPS while ADSing. I find it more enjoyable that way. I don't mind the third person view while running around. But I can't stand firing a gun without looking down the sights. Just my take.

That's easy to say when your playing on level 3 or 4. But anything above that and you are in the fight of your life just to stay alive and then you have the added effect of a meteor shower that you have zero control over???? That's just a stupid addition to the game as far as I'm concerned. It doesn't need to be there. And if you are playing at higher levels and a meteor shower comes in, it allows for more enemies to spawn because you are having to deal with something that is completely out of your control. That is the one decision with this new patch that I HATE. The rest of the stuff I can work around.

I don't care about the railgun nerf. I never really used it that much anyway. I don't care about the shield nerf because I never used it because I can generally dive out of the way of an attack and shoot from the ground. They both took up two slots in the stratagem menu for things that were more valuable "to me". But I've noticed what you've noticed with enemy density. Playing on the bug side is borderline stupid now playing on level 7. You drop in and you can't even get a stratagem off because you will be in a fight for your life right when you land even if it says on the loading map there are no enemies at that location. There will be enemies there. I HATE stalkers more than anything. They were annoying before. Now it's just instant death because so many will spawn along with their minions that there really isn't a counter for it.

The game is still fun as hell and we have a blast playing seriously or just fucking around and punching each other into oblivion. But the meteor showers was / is a stupid addition to the game.

Fuck, more bugs? That's going to suck, especially with stalkers.

You noticing more chargers too? I'll dodge them and whatnot but when it's 2-3 and people pop off orbitals it's a litte...interesting.

 

Chargers??? Jesus yes. I had 5 on me last night and when playing on higher levels? Good luck taking them down. We did the daily where we had to take down two Bile Titans and I "think" they don't spawn unless you are playing on level 6 and above. We got it done but it wasn't enjoyable. I don't mind the game being hard. I like that. But don't take away all of our tools to actually fight our way out of it.

I used to hate playing on the Automaton side. But we played all night last night on it and it felt like full ground warfare and was a blast. Playing on the Terminade side is just stupid now at higher levels.

haha i play it with my work buddy on pc but havent played much since the gf cant play it on her pc. i think im below lvl 10 still lol

her pc is an old alien ware box thingy? from like 2016 ish its graphics card is on par with a gtx750 lmao so its barley running stuff! hell we cant even play on our minecraft server with the new mod pack... its to much and it will kick her out
