All, I have been blowing a 7.5 amp fuse in my cab box that is labeled TAIL. No tail lights or license plate lights. Everything else is as it should be. I have added LED plate lights in the past, and have Alpha Rexx tail light. This just came out of nowhere. I have checked all light connections and everything seems solid. First post probably won't be the last.

    Thanks, IMG_2922.jpg

It would help to know the year of your truck to look up the correct diagrams.

Does it blow any time the lights are turned on or just at random?

2019 sport. I have replaced the fuse and it will stay good for a day, and I have changed it and got 2 blocks and it popped. I have looked at all wires they are all in factory snake skin.

Intermittents can be really hard to find unless you can get it to happen consistently, all I can really tell you is look for any spot that the harness could be rubbing against. Also don't discount that it could be one of the aftermarket lights.

The TAIL fuse feeds all the exterior tail and marker lights front and rear.

Happy to say it was an easy find. Tail light wire(green) on passenger side was rubbing the inside bed skeleton. I appreciate the help. I used a live rubber splice and sealed it up. The could have used just 2 more inches of flex conduit to cover the whole strand.. The fuse wouldn’t blow sitting idle, but once I drove a couple of blocks I could hear it pop.
