3rd gear loses rpms

    When accelerating my truck is good until it gets too 3rd 4th gear around 1000-1100 rpm’s and it loses rpm’s even as I’m still accelerating. I know nothing about engines and I know it could be many issues.

    try to get a video with good sounds. I can't imagine how you could loose RPM as you are accelerating, other than than upshift (or converter lockup), but I would think anyone would recognize that. Either way, 1,000-1,100 is far from ideal accelerating RPM for the V6, but maybe you can list more needed details.
