    Hi Everyone,

My 2002 Pre-Runner Excab door handle snapped. It’s a one owner, and probably will be forever so I want it to stay looking good. I’m looking for replacement recommendations.
I found a metal upgrade by T1A TruBuilt that looks pretty good.

Recommendations - Plastic? Metal? Stay away from? Doesn’t fade? Overrated?

    Your thoughts - Thanks, Russ

T1A door handles are easy install however remember to lube all the door handle linkage inside the door while it’s all open. I replaced my door speakers while I was in there. I should have installed some dynamat but oh well maybe next time

Now you have me thinking. A few years ago I had the seats and carpet out for a cleaning and didn’t even think of sound deadening. Mine is pretty noisy.
FYI- the seat upholstery went right in the washer and I lightly pressure washed the carpet on the driveway. Everything came out great.

So removing the seat upholstery is easy?
My seats could use a wash!

Tons of hog rings. I clipped mine off and replaced them. It was pretty easy.
I found a broken weld in the inside of one of the backs I was able to fix.
I actually swapped the driver seat cover with the passenger to even out the wear.

    Thanks for the info.
    I ended up buying some.
I have a four door and am having a tough time finding the handles for the back doors.
