I have a 2021 Tacoma SR5 and decided to upgrade my speakers about a year ago by installing all new Kicker speaker with an Amplifier and Ds-18 Tweeters. It was really good until I started to notice after a couple months that sometimes when I start driving there would be a fuzzing sound from my driver side tweeter area. When I accelerate the fuzzing starts to get worse and goes down when I lay off the gas. I tried seeing if it was just my tweeter by unplugging when driving and the noise was gone, I tried putting back my oem tweeter to see if my after market one was the problem. The noise even came back after putting them back in. I’m thinking it’s something in that area and my tweeters aren’t the problem but something else in that area.

Try checking the pin connections from the tweeter cone to the wire pigtail. Just a thought

what exactly is a 'fuzzing' sound? a cross between a bumble bee and a pepsi being opened?

if it's a hum or ground loop, check your amp grounds.
