    I'm gonna have to start mowing soon. The old barn area is thick in some areas, the back dog kennel is going to need to get mowed soon too. Front yard is green also and I just picked up some kentucky 31 to over seed it all.

    Lack of nutrients. I have a plugger attachment behind the tractor. Takes four 50 lb bags of triple 17 or sand or concrete to plug it. Hard clay I am gradually turning into a mix of good dirt, sand and clay with plenty of nutrients.
    Eventually it will be self sustaining but it takes a long time.

    You're on the right track, it's not an immediate turn around. I would always water in any fertilizer application immediately but after that try and keep your watering to early morning/evening to avoid burn off from the sun. Pay attention to the blade of grass. Maybe get a sampler probe to check your root depth. Don't over water. Make those roots chase deep.

    It’s raining, but I want to work on the camper. I pulled off the bumper caps and noticed wasps had built nests inside it, not again!

    I was there looking for a glove to play catch with the kiddo, she’s taken a sudden interest in softball. I was surprised when I went in there, they have 0 hunting supplies now. Which is great in a way, because that means the local trading post gets the business!

    My neighbor (that hasn't mowed in a decade, and apparently hasn't done anything else) recently passed away and this is in his yard.
    If this were mine, and it was in running condition....you couldn't pay me to paint it. Maybe just throw on some clear and let it ride.
    (Its for sale :eek:)

    @RustyGreen
    Can we get some deets?

    Mrs Green doesn't like waffles, pancakes, french toast, bagels, most breads (I can go on...), so I don't make any of them.

    Because I'm not a fix it guy. If I were I'd be dragging it over here right now. I think I fell in love with it. :anonymous:

    But I may buy an acre that borders my acre, I really need more crap to mow.
