Side view mirror cover repair

Hi, my 2017 DC TRD OR right side mirror hit a pole when I was backing up and the black plastic piece of the side mirror assembly was cracked. Anyone knows what’s the part number and how to replace it? I saw a video replacing the whole assembly that required removing the door panel. Hope it won’t need that much work to replace only the black cover. Thanks.

 

You can pull the black triangle looking piece inside truck without pulling the panel and remove 3 bolts on the mirror can’t remember if you can get to the wire it plugs into without removing the whole panel though. Panel is only 2 screws and 1 push pin I can have it off in about a minute. Unscrew the screws and grab the bottom it’ll pop off. Warning you may lose small clips on inside mirror cover or the door panel but not always.

No comment about repairing the mirror I’d buy a new one the aren’t super expensive
