    What’s up Taco People!

I recently purchased a low mileage 2022 Trd off-road. I suspect it may have the OTT tune already…

can anyone tell me how I can confirm this?

If you bought it from a dealer ask if they would call the previous owner. If not go drive someone's taco that doesn't have it and you will see the difference quickly.

Meet up with an OTT tuner in your area and see if the calibration checksum matches the stock. If it turns out you have a tune, it's a good opportunity to upgrade the tune to a newer version with more refinements and bugfixes.

It's also possible your truck has a tune from another group, KDMax, Valleyrunner, etc., and these tunes usually have multiple throttle sensitivity settings that can be chosen at the time of flashing.

Hook it up to a scan tool and find the ECU’s CVN #. The ignition cycle count is also a good indication.

Maybe @JustDSM fan tell you if your VIN has been issued a tune by OTT previously? If you just suspect it is tuned in general, then it could have any number of potential tunes on it, not necessarily OTT. OTT is just one company out of many offering them.

We have a VIN for everyone on OTT-CE. If it’s on an earlier version of OTT we would not necessarily have a VIN recorded. If we knew the CVN of OP’s truck I could see if it lines up with one of ours. However if it has any user preference/custom changes it would be impossible to tell as we don’t record every possible CVN for custom files.
