Lifted 1st gens let's see em

What size tires are you running? Any rubbing?

 

Got the General spring HD’s on my 01.

after settling I got right at 1.25” of lift as expected. I need to bump the ass up .5-1”.

is a shackle the easiest way to achieve this?

 

If your shackle bolts come out like they’re supposed to do then a shackle lift if easiest. Better start spraying some lube oil on them now if you’re leaning that way.

 

I’ve rebuilt the entire rear end in the past 4 months.

shouldn’t have an issue.

 

Lucky... my bolts are round nubs.

 

are these stock TRD fenders or aftermarket? They're exactly what I'm looking for!

 

for a 3 inch lift use ford e150 rear leafs. they move the wheels foward to center them in the wheelwells and they are a bolt in in the rear and you need to bend the front mount 1/8 inch outwards to bolt it in. I replaced my OME 2.5" lift trash springs with these e150 springs and it is worlds better. my rear wheels are perfectly centered in the wheel tubs with these springs and the old 3" blocks.

 

‘99 TRD Off-Road 4X4 on 33’s with a 2.5” trash(lol) OME lift with AP upper control arms and beefed up rear springs.

Here's my lifted 01 1st gen. You guys have some sweet trucks.

 

2002 TRD, Bilstein 5100’s, Eibach 2.5” springs up front, 1.5” blocks out back with extended length RC N3 shocks. Bottom pic with 32x11.50 Geolandars, top pic with 235/80/17 pizza cutters( Delium Terra Raider ATX)

 

98 with about 2.5" front, 3" rear lift. 33 x 10.5 R15 BFGs.

 

96 with about 2.5" front, 3" rear lift. BFG All-Terrain T/A KO2 | 265/70R16 121S. Actually more lift than I want, waiting on a camper shell and tire carrier for the back to push everything down a bit.

 

Hey man, would you mind giving the details of your lift? Just picked up a '98 and this is the look I am wanting. TIA!

 

Taking a stab at it either OME all around or possibly a combo of springs. Mine sits similar and I’ve got Bilstein 5100 up front with OME coils. Custom leaves in the back but an AAL would level it out as well.

 

Dobinsons IMS coilovers up front, IMS rear shocks, General Spring HD springs, rando leaf shackles at 1".
