APEX just released a teaser video on Instagram and then updated their site. Those looking for disconnects, here they are. APEX is really well respected in the Jeep community...but get your checkbooks ready. $750 for the disconnects.

Jeebus, I’d like them but not for that much. I’ve looked at mine and don’t see what a simple set like a Jeep has wouldn’t work.

The issue is with our sway bar sitting close to our CVs. They would probably interfere with the CVs and tear the boot at least. I took my sway bar off and haven't looked back, but I was hoping these weren't going to be almost 1000.

Do they allow for more articulation?

Yes. Not sure how much, but I’ve flexed enough to have pulled one of my abs wire.

Nice. That is enough at that point. How hard are they to reconnect? I'm going to have to put my swaybar back on at some point when I start pulling a small travel trailer.

Two bolts and a pin x2. Plus taking the old ones off. I just jumped under and done did it. It might be easier maybe with the tire off, but not at all necessary.

That’s a much better price point. I had two different types on my Wrangler, quick disconnects like those and also a RockJock AntiRock. The AntiRock was the bee’s knees.

For day-to-day wheeling do you need any tools to disconnect/reconnect, or is it just pulling the pins?

Yeah, when it’s disconnected and doing its thing, it spins a bit. The bottom has an Allen key bolt to help spin it back in place. If the dico rust a bit, I’ve had to dead blow the sway bar back down into place so the pin hole is aligned. Sometimes I can do it by hand by just hitting the sway bar down.

Other than that, yeah, just pull the pins and put them back in. Maintenancing the heim joints helps this, which I’ve done only twice to be honest.

I just picked up a set, now I need to source a used set of spindles as mine are gusseted which would block the kit. Only drawback I can see from this solution.

I will say that I had a set of their Autolynx on my Gladiator and it was probably the best $450 I put into the truck. Insanely convenient and when you're done you turn the knob and drive off - they automatically lock in as you go. No automatic re-engagement at 15mph like the factory, no fighting to get the pin back in, no worrying about a loose sway bar.

I removed my SB years ago and made a gate hinge out ot if. That gate will still be standing 100s of years from now.

I guess I'm just curious how the pin holds up while locked. How awful would it be to have the pin shear/snap/fall out while mid corner. (The $200 dollar one, not the OP one)
