I'm probably going to have to purchase that swath of land. The whole system is failing anyways so it will all have to be re-worked. My soil won't pass a perk test and have to go with a sand mound system so I'll need as much land as I can get for that.

If you said it I missed it, did they sell the land adjoining you and are going to develop it?

The property changed hands to a different family member and right now they're renting the old house. The field is in limbo right now from what I can tell what they're doing to it. I'd love to buy an acre of it, but that's not in the cards financially now.

Well the shop has been intense lately. Definitely hoping we get another guy in the warehouse soon. Our volume skyrocketed and our little team of 9 is busting ass to try and keep up. All good problems.

Last week we finally knocked our heads together to come up with a traction board mounting solution. The Maxtrax ones are great but we wanted something a little more universal for folks who might use other brands or need other mounting options. While, originally designed to work the best with our Bulkhead Accessory Rail we made sure that it would really work on anything.

I told my wife next time I go to the doctor and fill out paperwork and it says "who to contact in case of emergency" I'm putting "911, cause my wife won't answer".

I would scale back on the Vit-C and increase your Zinc and B-12. Apparently there was a study about Vit-C and the double blind fudged the numbers a bit when it came to immune benefits. Also, you'd do well to ensure your Vit-D is up if you dont get enough sunlight through the day which also has health benefits regarding your immune system.

I just had a new one happen to me, on FB I'm a member of a tractor group. I liked a post a guy had with some IH front weights for sale. 10 minutes later he sent me a friend request then a message and ask was I interested in purchasing the weights. I said no.

If I wanted them, I would have sent him a message

    I would, lol.

Last time I took some stuff to this sale I had some John Deere weights, they brought more than you could buy new ones for. After they passed a certain amount the auctioneer said "somebody go up to the shed and take mine off":rofl::rofl:

Had a guy call last week needing help putting new suspension on and he came in on Thursday.
Installed new king coil overs and icon upper control arms and rear shocks on a 2021 1500 with a Duramax.

Found out when he got here why he needed extra help.
    IMG_5579.jpg

Super cool guy and did what he could to help as much as possible.
Was neat to see the whole side of the truck go up and down. :spending:

Most studies that show vit c not working are because people don't take enough. I would take 5-10 times that amount if I was sick. When your stomach starts rumbling, it's time to back off. Big pharma will definitely have a different opinion.

My career was building and selling accessible vehicles. Those hand controls are from :canada:. When that company was getting started, we designed custom mounts for various vehicles, and provided installation photos for them. The owner is a quadriplegic. Once they got established in the US (hard to do because of buy America rules for VA), they really took off and are doing great now. Picks ups you can drive from a wheelchair are pretty rare (for a few reasons) but largely because the available lowered floor space is quite narrow, and most wheelchair widths are based on needs, not wants, so, difficult to mess with. Cool trucks though! Unfortunately, it's a very expensive, very niche modification, and FMVSS crash testing is o_O at best. On a 1500, GVWR is maxed out without a 400 + lb power wheelchair behind the wheel. A healthy suspension upgrade should have been part of the conversion.

Thank you for the background info on these. This truck had upgraded suspension already but he has put almost 120k on it since it was built so it was due for an upgrade.
It was amazing the amount of structure everywhere to make it function.
Seeing how much the truck leaned to the side when the door was open and lift was extended was incredible.
No power chair on this one. Still had use of his upper body. Definitely don’t see many trucks running around like this.

Good for him! Many conversions aren't driven much, only a small percentage get a lot of use. I figured he had some remaining upper body based on the hand controls, they require dexterity to operate. Interesting choice of conversion, since there are others that have a number of advantages for folks that can transfer, but without background :notsure:. Something I loved about my career was everybody that needs an accessible vehicle is different, and there is no "one size fits all" solution.
