Sorry for the loss and good wishes to you in your new chapter in life. I had a 19 ridgeline I babied, loved it. However the transmission crapped to bed at 150k and a refurbished install was going for 9k. Watch the transmission. I changed my fluids on time and it didn’t matter. I wasn’t going to pay 9k so went with a 23 taco. Ridge lines a better ride, more room, 27mpg avg. but a taco I can pull off the side of the road to hunt or hike or collect firewood. I could never do that in the ridgeline. She’s a minivan with a bed. but enjoy her.

    Sorry for your loss -OP!

RL are great vehicles. It will serve you well!

May I ask why you decided that you needed a different vehicle than your '20 OR?

Congratulations on the new ride! (And for the e-bike as well! - keep on riding!)

No need to leave the board unless you get banned! :D

Stick around a while. Even with the RL, you remain well within rights to continue to chastise taco 'Sport' and now Gen 4 owners! :stirthepot:

    :boink:
    Don't miss out!

Good on ya for making the needed life changes... Best of luck!

Random stuff. Oh! and converted to non ADD 4x4.
Sorry for your loss. Who ever talks crap about ridgelines are clowns. They’re awesome if you don’t need 4L. Enjoy and never stop having fun and tinkering around. A local guy has one lifted on 33”s and looks sick!!! Feel free to do a build thread here. Big hug!

    No

Not a thing wrong with a Ridgeline. I'm an active member on the Casita travel trailer forum and the Ridgeline is very popular with some members and they use it to haul a rig that weighs over 3,000 lbs.

Side note a Casita member just posted, he just turned 90 yrs old and his 4 runner has 450,000 miles on it. He has full timed with that combo for 21 yrs! So, don't fret about your years, enjoy yourself.

    Sorry about your loss.

I will add the final thing that made me trade in my frontier. The brakes have always felt spongy and twice in stop and go traffic the pedal went to the floor and I had to pull on the emergency brake. I had the brakes redone and the master cylinder replaced and it did it again months later. I assume the power brake booster might be the culprit which means more $ and more trips over the hill to the closest dealer but I got tired of the hassle of dealing with the issue especially since I pull a travel trailer.

I do understand that things like that can happen to any vehicle but I know myself well, when I lose confidence in a vehicle I'm done with it.

Mine sure is, bought the Tacoma for the other 10% which is silly. That and the 6’ bed.
