Any idea where this seal goes

    Ordered the bearing kit from LCE and i have this seal left out of each kit. It says its a inner seal. Replacing the bearings and seals in rearend of 98 tacoma. No idea where it goes. It’s not the seal you drive into the axle housing and not the one you press on with bearings. Number on seal is trail-gear 301086-1 it seems like it goes in the axle tubes, but they sent one with a metal face that goes there. Just like the one i pulled out.

    Somebody probably knows here.

    I dont think they are the wrong ones but it looks like they sent two different inner seals. I will call them tomorrow and see why they did. Maybe trail gear is a better seal but why include the original seal. Seems like a waste of money
