I got a 2” lift on my regular cab taco. 2 years ago I bought the king oem rear struts with piggyback. I took them off after the lift cus they bottom out so rn I’m riding with no struts on the rear. Ima order new custom rear struts from King but was wondering is rear remote resis possible on the outside frame by the wheel? I ask cus i never seen it. These are the current shocks i had on these were the dimensions, so would it be safe to assume just add 2” to the specs in the pic i provided? Thanks

Go with some 12" shocks and do a rear shock relocation.

    Super common.

If you're unfamiliar, just look up rear shock relocation.

Is it possible to mount the strut at the oem location and wire the external resi to the outside frame or no? Thank you I’ll look into that

Absolutely, simple DIY job for a reservoir mount

But it would be a waste of money as the stock location leaves a lot to be desired

Why spend even half as much as you intend to for such little travel?

Waste of money if you ask me

True. Lets say I dont want remote or piggyback resi, would a 8” stroke be good enough for my 2” lift? rn the old ones are 6” stroke. Again thanks for your input
