Just purchased a used 2020. Did the previous owner lower it?

It is an afternoon’s work, still easy. Dunno, maybe it is just me, have done a bunch of them…can practically do it in my sleep. :)

True, if the OP couldn’t tell it was lowered in the first place. Probably have someone else do the work, even easier to just buy another truck.

Is it too late to back out if the deal, or at least have the dealer return it to stock?

They did. I didn't ask and they didn't tell.
I'm on pavement 98% of the time but work in the forest a few times a year.

There are only a handful within 300 miles of me with the mileage and price I was looking for, but you still may not be wrong about this not being my best fit. Regardless, this is the first vehicle I've owned I've actually cared about. Everything else has always been as cheap as I could get that wasn't going to be a money pit in repairs. I'm excited to learn more and, again, appreciate everyone's input.

I'm going to go in next week and have a shop that does this type of work look at it, but what range do you guys think it would be to have this reverted?
If the kit is like what was posted above ($600~), I probably shouldn't think too much about selling the parts if removed?

What about a utv? This truck should still tow ok and it’s a good looking street truck. Then go have real fun in the dirt.

From the pictures, it looks like they installed this kit:

    https://sosperformance.com/products/tr2037-2-front-35-rear-lowering-kit-fits-2016-tacoma

Someone else posted a similar link; they’re the same kit but I’m not sure if LCE sells it for SOS or vice versa. Either way it should be entirely reversible to bring it back to stock height; an install pdf and YouTube video for installation is available on the SOS linked page so you just do everything in reverse. If they weren’t included at sale you may need to source the stock front shock perches since you remove and replace them with the sleeves in the kit, and as someone mentioned you may need shorter ubolts. If you have a jack, jackstands, ratchets, torque wrench and a friend, you could probably tackle this in your home garage.
