And for the most part as long as people aren't buying no name cheapo's, as long as you keep stuff serviced on time or get to it when it starts acting weird. You should be fine.

 

Finally got my v8 4runner back from Legends. Had the 24 4runner loaner for 5 days. No change in driving style. 24 4runner averaged 16 mpg, my 20 year old 4runner with the v8 averages 18.5-19 and is faster!

It's not difficult to find. Search copart for 23 Tacoma. And it shows right up.

 

Not difficult at all. I just have a habit of not closing tabs

 

Toyota gave an estimate of about $37k to fix it. Carstar was around $33k. I hope I can get it for $15k or less, otherwise I am out!

ive tried a lot to get a totaled sport bike for a track toy but man is it hard! i dont wanna spend a lot on a bike thats totaled and sometimes its going well on the bid and then they change it close to the final bid and put a damn reserve on it! so copart has made me mad a lot and ive called and asked why this changed on the last day... all they have said is well it wasnt hitting the number we wanted so we put a reserve...

 

I suspect that's what's likely to happen here. Copart has it as a puresale but I know they paid the insurance $23k to buy it as is. I can't see them selling it for less than that. But I also don't know why they would have paid that much knowing what it would cost to fix and a salvage title!

 

it doesnt always happen sometimes you can get it at pure sale... it just depends on the other ones that are being sold. two weeks before i had passed up on a 2021 ninja 400 that sold for 600.. so i tried for the other and copart saw the other not go for what they wanted and they wanted more so they put it at 1500... and nobody won the bike since we didnt meet the reserve..

This is going to be an odd post but please bear with me.

I work remote in Arizona for a company located in Kansas City. I have a co-worker in Kansas City who is need of some help.

Her dog tore his ACL and is going to require surgery and can't walk up the stairs of their deck with out a ramp.

What I'm looking for is anyone that can help them build a ramp for their deck. The ramp will be very basic, something much like this Dog Ramp. They have a split deck as well. The ramp just needs to be as simple as possible, but safe. 2x4's, ply wood, carpet.

This would require very basic tools to complete however the owners do not do they type of work and are having difficulties finding someone who can build this for them. The owners have a few tools, drill, hammer, etc, they do not have a skill saw.

I figured I'd reach out to this group and see if anyone can assist my buddy out with building this or finding someone who can? They are located in Belton. Any help is greatly appreciated.
