I have recently purchased a sub box with two 12” Memphis audio subs and have a 1800watt gothic amp I’ve done a bit of research and also purchased a lci2 loc and am looking for some advice on hooking up the stock amp wires to the loc

Top white connector at the jbl amp,

    purple/green = subwoofer voice coil1 +
    purple/yellow = subwoofer voice coil1 -

    purple/black = subwoofer voice coil2 +
    purple/red = subwoofer voice coil2 -

Also, sorry you got scammed on the amp.

I’d get an actual 600w RMS amp. The kicker CX 800.1 and alpine S2-a60m are good bang for buck options

also make sure the subs are wired properly. Prettt sure those are DVC so you want to wire them down to a 2 ohm load at the amp

Also, get some ratchet straps and STRAP that thing down to the car seat anchors. If you rear end someone, the last thing you want is 80 pounds of subwoofer box crushing into your seat and killing you

I will make sure to check the subs ,so I should be able to take the sub wires you listed and run them directly into my loc or will I have to splice the wires listed into the loc?
Thank you so much for the reply

I would either get some spare speaker wire and splice into those wires and feed that into the loc, or ideally get the pac aph-ty01 and that will let you wire everything up with no cutting of the factory wiring

If I go the splicing route do you have any recommendations on connectors and speaker wire gauge ?

From the factory sub wiring to the loc, you don’t need much. 18awg or smaller. You won’t need any connectors

    Hey Destin
Wondering if you can help me
I took my tacoma to a shop n notice they only splice into two wires from jbl amp
    Purple red
    Purple black
I was wondering if they also have to splice in to the purple green n yellow
Or it doesn’t make a difference
    Thank you

They only need to splice into once side of the dual channel sub output to get a mono signal for a sub.
