    Hi all
Curious what the group’s thoughts are on what and why was cut out of my 2001 3.4 4x4? Purchased recently and the seller didn’t disclose it. The horn and cruise both don’t work. And yes, I have researched and tried to find the answer before posting :)

This looks like it could be factory original. The CC certainly is. But not all 1st gens came with ABS.

    Thanks for the replies.
Any of those cut wires possibly horn related or all just abs and need to be sealed up and forgotten.
I have to get the horn working for inspection and I’m down to one of those wires or the challenging clockspring.

That looks like something aftermarket. I've never seen factory wiring zip tied to the firewall like that.

Just look at your hubs to see if you ever had ABS sensors. That seriously looks like an aftermarket alarm bundle, which would have taken out your horn.

Thanks all. I appreciate the schematics. And the thoughts about the zip ties helped. Looks to me like it’s aftermarket cruise control so probably unrelated to the horn. I may try to reconnect the wires bc it’d be nice to have cruise control. And if it doesn’t work just pull the wires and cc module off to clean it up. I’m

Just to close this thread out. The wires were/are cruise control. After market. Gonna try to reconnect the wires and see if it works. Thanks again for all the reply’s.

The horn was the clock spring. Thirty minutes to change that out and the horn now works.
