I upgraded my factory head unit to an alpine ILX-507. After having it for about a week I decided I wanted to try SiriusXM and bought the module. When I went to plug it in I found that the Tacoma had a different connection than the antenna that came with the siriusxm module. I bought two off Amazon that I thought would work, the first ones to come up, but the connection didn’t work for the factory Tacoma antenna. Any help getting the right adapter is appreciated, specially one that’s not part of a multi pack.

Thanks, I that’s one of the adapters I bought and it didn’t work. It connects to the XM module, but the other end wouldn’t connect. I even tried taking it out of the housing hoping I could just tape it in place, but the insulation was keeping the connection from fully connecting.

Look on here: iDatalink - Home

    Or www.crutchfield.com

Edit: I had a 2017 and a quick look and it looks like the adaptors linked in the other post would work. Something else going on? Are you plugging into the right connection?

Thanks I’ll try Idatalink next. I tried crutchfield and only found head units. I must really be bad at searching.

For Crutch field, you might have to go through the motions of purchasing and stop short of actual buying. It should show what will be included.

Thank for the TGP recommendation. That’s who I got my head unit from, it was cheaper than buying all the pieces from crutchfield and then it saved me time figuring out maestro. I ended up ordering the Idata set off Amazon, hopefully it’ll show up tomorrow. Thanks again for the help
