Last few weeks I noticed a little rattle, more like an intermittent clicking on rougher roads, coming from the passenger side lower dash area. Today I finally isolated it to only when the glove box door is closed but no noise when the door was open. The door just wasn't making a tight fit when closed and I could actually gently tap on it and make it move a little.

To test I cut some Velcro "fuzzy side" self-stick squares and doubled them up to about 3/8" thick and put them on both sides of the door where the door contacts the little rubber bumpers at the top of the glove box. They are actually much thicker than the picture shows below and now the door is tight with no movement.

Noise is completely gone. Think now I'll get some small round felt self-stick "dots" to make it look more professional. Just my CDO kicking in (same as OCD but I alphabetize everything) - ha.

The dots are called cabinet door bumps.
