    Found more crud and a disconnected wire, probably for the wireless. The lip that's supposed to help close and seal the unit also doesn't go 100% around the edge.

    I've recommended this to people. Not sure that will happen going forward. That's marketing over design. Time to see what they say.

    Just finished the email with pics to the support guy I've been talking to. That is one of the points I made. And that I've recommended this winch to others. I also said that I probably won't do that again.

    Busy day. After spending too much at Costco, WallyWorld, and Martins, the winch controller is installed (It works!), respooled the rope, fog light short found and fixed, fender flare clip put back in place (with some assistance), new LED map lights, and wheels / tires rebalanced. Also moved two lights so i can get covers back on them. Not taking chances after the non ticket ticket. Feels like my truck again. And my to do list is a bit shorter. Now she needs a good cleaning.

    I did silicone the new control box. No response yet on the old one.

    Finished the day with a little Angel's Envy.
