I can’t recall who asked, but thought I’d check meself. Looks like one could red line 4LO @ 50mph. I stopped at 45 because she was whistling!!!!

Good Stuff in my 3rd Gem Tacoma at Carrizo Plain today.:burnrubber::mudding:

I paid for low range, I'm gonna use low range, fuel economy be damned!

(I'd recommend changing your xfer case fluid soon)

Exactly. Only did it to find out AND have a blast in MY Taco. So much so today was a great day that reminded me of me youth days cruising Michoacán, Mexico in DINA buses (Flecha Amarilla) powered by two stroke Detroit Diesel Series 71 motors. If you ever experienced first hand the sound of these motors, you’ll realize why I’m enamored with ICE’s. My brother just sent me this. For you country folks out there, southern boys can do it too :0)

Lotta nannies in here. Not really a big deal at all. I prefer cruising fire roads in low range. But not double low, that's just too slow.

Our Tacomas have a strong sack, particularly with a tune. SC is a different dimension. But for a naturally aspirated V6, I wouldn’t let anyone call our motors turds :0)

Im not a YouTube guy. The motor sounded nice.

Rear locker/ALSD/2WD… The Taco went from 20 to almost 30mph in under a second. Sweet spots from 3500rpm to 4500rpm.

Btw, when you’re drunk and telling tall stories, a Taco is a Taco…you can say “Oh yeah! Well my Taco went 50mph in 4LO!”

    Actually, I might have to YouTube to show ya’ll 4LO+TRAC OFF+KDMAXPRO SPORT+ from a launch:devil:
