This trail beckoned from above!!!

Super Awseome day at Carrizo Plain today. Bloom is barely beginning with a bunch of yellow.

Wonderful meandering trails. Still a bunch of mud and water left. I hit one big hole that threw me off my pick and I to the deepest ruts. Toyota TRAC to the rescue. Felt awesome squirming out.

So many places, and not enough time! I used to go to Ocotillo Wells back in 2008-2010. What about that area again!!!!!???!!!!!

Then I got to the top and saw that trail that beckoned to the bone!

 

Lots of side trails down there leading to cool BLM campsites.

 

Carrizo Plain has its gnarly parts too!

It was James. Although at one point the Taco was in a nasty position and I knew the system was straining. Sure enough, when I got past the obstacle, I heard/felt an unbinding sound. 3rd Gen’s a strong truck.
