Roof Paint Quote

I'm needing to repaint my roof on my 2017. I live in South FL and got a quote of $1,350.00 to paint my roof only. Seemed a bit high for a local shop. I might even consider Maaco since it's just the roof. Anyone else painted theirs? How's the price nowadays?

 

Curious as well. I'm in the market for a hood and roof repaint on my 2013. The last brutal Texas summer took its toll on my clearcoat.

 

I'd say that's in line these days. Pull at least three quotes from reputable places.

You want a shop that is skilled at blending. If you go cheap, it's gonna show.

Can you get a compressor that maintains 10cfm, a gun, paint and reducer for less? It’d be tough!

In my area I'd say it's a little high, but not much.

 

I’d say that’s about right if they’re just doing the center section of the roof. If it was me I’d have the front windshield and back glass pulled so they can paint into the glass channel. But that me.
