2021 trd off road with tech package. 60k miles

I got new tires about a month ago. Didn’t think to check the tire pressure on dashboard. Yesterday I was driving, think it was just after I went over a speed bump. Got a warning light on tire pressure. Truck could not read any of the tires . Took to dealer and they reset system. This took away warning light. They told me 4th sensor was broken (so just one sensor) and it might have happened when they installed new tires. Truck still won’t read any of the tires psi. One day later warning light comes back on.

    1. Anything I can try to fix this? Did this likely happen when I got my tires replaced?

    2. Seems like the warning light wants to stay on. Will I still get warnings for other alerts? How would I know if a new alert showed up?

    thanks

Have the broken sensor replaced by whomever ham-fisted your tire install.

Is the light flashing for 20-30 seconds every time you start the truck? If yes then a sensor is broken or the battery is dead. It's not going to reset, it's not going to fix itself. It needs to be replaced

It'll be pretty hard to pin it on the tire shop if the install was a month ago

So the first time the alert went on, it was flashing then went constant. I took it to the dealer, they reset system. No light when I got home. Then light came back on, I think this time it was a constant light rather then flashing.

If you need a new one to solve your problem, does it really matter?

It's either replace it or live with it like it is. Regardless of who you have do the work.

Apologies, can you tell me what the TPMS valve stem would look like (vs a non TPMS)?

Top is a typical TPMS sensor and stem

Bottom is a plain old stem

Easy to look at your wheel and see what you have in place.
