Shibbyjeep's "Jack" Build

It has been a LONG time coming. I have been meaning to and meaning to and meaning to do a build thread on here, even though my truck is mostly built already. Significance for this build thread will be a place for me to document the majority of the build that has already been completed, a place to reference old get togethers with Tacoma friends and old pics of the truck. Also I will probably never be done with the truck seeing that I still have several things in my garage that I have yet to put on to it and have lots of refreshing to do in the near future(fresh coats on all steel, new decals, upgrade suspension components). I may also include my Shibbyduty truck in here as well as its been recently receiving the most love from my spare time.

Anyways, the build thread is here, follow if you would like. BS is welcome. I will be filling the thread in the coming days.

Below are the oldest pics I have of the truck. From when he was nearly bone stock to new wheels and tires and a light bar and upgraded fogs to pods. Oh and my trucks version of the "Jeep wave". Also evidence as to why my screen name is "Shibbyjeep"

At this point I now know Eddy did a bunch of people wrong, but I am not going to respend money redoing all of my armor. SO yes my truck is fully SOS outfitted. SOS front full hoop bumper, Full skids, High clearance rear w/ swing out, CMC, ditch light brackets, and bolt on sliders. Below are the pics I have of pick up to install of each.

The truck was in the above configuration from 2016ish until 2020 when I decided to do a stereo upgrade as well as adding a roofrack.

 

Here are pics of the upgraded third brakelight w/ backup cam, roofrack, front cam, radio, expedition outdoors dash mount, TRD grill, raptor lights, new wheels, tires, and an awning.

 

Its now time to do a refresh on the truck. I need to replace the faded orange decals(possibly going to just debadge all the way as it wont need to be freshed up that way later on), fresh coat of bedliner on all of the armor, I have some interior items I need to add(additional switch for all the new lights and the wet okole seat covers are worn and faded) as well as build my head lights. I have all the components to do a custom black build with demon eyes. Sort of like the ones below.

 

Yes yes I know. I even alluded to that at the start lol. I have lots to redo/add so there will be more active content on here instead of the current theme which is a look back. Sadly I lost a bunch of pictures several years ago in a phone change over(old phone got busted). But I loaded what I've got. Now to remember all of the details of all the brands and such that are on the truck...

Hit up gulches today. Did the "tacoma wave" a few times with 1 wheel several feet off the ground and 3 making contact, but no one got video or pics of it. First offroad trip for Leighton and he had a blast. Not to mention loves getting to sit up front when we are on the trail!

 

No pics means it didn't happen .but as along as you had fun
