What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Not sure this qualifies... picking up tomorrow Monday 3/18(FINALLY after three weeks) 2021 Sport DC LB. I had 2009 and recall how much money I spent on things for the 2009.

For the 2021, I decided to keep a spreadsheet to track all of my mostly idiotic purchases that are not needed for the truck but make it better (in my my own mind).. ha ha

Have already spent this on it and still don't even have it.

New side steps

 

lol I felt the same way when I got white. I really wanted army green or lunar but I’m happy with it now

 

Installed the HEIGH10 yesterday and also got a front camera wired up with it.

 

New hat and boots for the taco this week. Leer 100XR. Vision Flow wrapped in Cooper ATP 2’s. Really like how it’s coming together.

 

Rotated the tires and gave it a bath

These torque sticks help remounting with my monster M18 rattle gun

I use the 75# stick and torque it from there. Usually gets it within a quarter turn.

 

Props for not being afraid to disassemble!

 

Installed a few small things that make things a little easier.
1. Some tie down hooks. I bought mine used and it didn’t come with the hooks for the t-bar, so I corrected that.

2. I added a gas cap holder. I know that I can put the cap in the door hook and that’s what I’ve been doing. This just seems like a better solution.

3. A divider for the glove box so I can organize it a bit.

I would like to add a little felt to it to make it look better and keep things a little quieter, but that will have to be another day.
4. A locking 5/8’s hitch pin. I wanted one made by bolt, but they don’t work with the key that comes with the proximity fob. This was the next best thing and it was also cheaper.

 

Finally got around to unspooling the brand new Amazon 10K winch wit my neighbor, that I installed last fall , and got a brand new clutch on the truck it is buttery smooth life is good cheers im 7 twisted teas deep and a couple wiskey shots

 

What the hell, that is expensive ?!? Dang I filled up yesterday for $2.79 in Arkansas.

 

I haven't seen gas at 2.79 in 10 years.

 

Nice pics. Got enough bows and backup bows...lol. Bet that chest freezer is full of good stuff.

 

Buffed the paint to metal and reapplied OEM touch up paint to the cracked paint of a crease—thanks to the jerk that backed into me and drove off all those years ago! Should be good for another couple of years.

 

Chopped the fenders/flares, really didn’t want to but the trails I hit are hardcore and the 35’s destroy them so oh well hahaha. Now to get C4 fender liners.

Did some spring cleaning stuff

-Cleaned all the junk out of my bed, organized my tools and recovery gear
-Installed more T-nuts and D rings in the bedrails
-Installed a cargo net so all my shit isnt rolling around
-and i did a mediocre wax job

 

All I can say is ... WOW! I was expecting something more western than what we have here in Ohio. Forget posting pics of the truck, I just want hunting stories. Keep up whatever your doing because it doesn't look like it can get any better.
