Please excuse me if this has been asked but I can’t seem to find it if it has been. So I got a 2020 sport I want to get 6112s and 5160s. I want to be at 2 inches in the front and 1 in the rear but everything I read is mixed. Some people say they got 2 inches at settings 11/9 (6/5) and some say they got 3 inches plan to do this on stock uca hence why I want to be at 2 inches. (Don’t flame me to hard about the ucas) it’s my daily and I hit some light trails maybe twice a month.

They arent an exact science, Ive had to take sets off and re-clip them.

I can say 11-9 usually sits higher than 2" and I know of people that have lowered them because of this.

If you want comfort and reasonable lift, stick to 8/6, it will lift it for sure. I don't think I'd go higher than 9/7 personally.

The confusion is probably coming from reading old threads and new threads. Somewhere along the lines, they changed the amount of clip settings. They didn't always have 11 settings. They used to have less.

I'm pretty sure 2020 when I put mine on there was 4 clip settings.

EDIT: didn't realize I didn't answer the question. I was trying to find a picture of them complete on the truck. I got about .5 " lift on first clip, but I am running a 4" lift spindle. they measured as advertised with the driver was 4.75" taller (with .25 spacer) and passenger was 4.5" taller.

    6. You either have 6 or 11.

I bought mine right when the 11s were released, and I got the 6 clipper. Not that it's upsetting, both function in the same way.

Couple things, OP. Every truck is different. Different trims/drivetrains have different weights, and accessories only add weight on top of that. So the chart isn't perfect, but it's close.

Also, I found that the shocks rode high for me for a couple of weeks. After the first month or so, they had pretty much settled down to their expected height.

yea I kinda figured just didn’t know the people where getting an inch more I assume with 600 pound springs I should be at the “advertised” height don’t plan to do bumpers or anything of that nature

I was wrong, mine had 5 clip settings. Lowest being .5" and tallest setting 2.75". I had to add a 1/4" spacer on the driver side to combat the taco lean.

Appreciate the tag good sir!
Going to the 11/9 setting is pretty consistent with a 2" lift on a 3rd gen double cab with the V6 and 4WD. You won't require new UCAs at that setting either. Like others have mentioned there is likely to be some cross-chatter between the older versions of this shock that had fewer notches, and then these shocks at their top setting will lift up to 2.5" on a 05-15 truck.

We're happy to help here at Hotshot Offroad as well. We've got all of the bits that you need on the shelf, and put a lot of kits together for forum folks. Shoot me a message or give us a call at 406-936-0206 and we should be able to help out no problem!
