In my case I wasn't initially worried, but this was 2022 and interest rates started climbing; I was thinking to do a 36-month note on the Tacoma, but by the time mine went feet dry in the U.S. the only good deal I could find was Toyota Financial's 48-month note at 2.49%, so I took it. :)

Try using auto trader advanced search dealers only. Filter 2024 Toyota Tacoma, manual transmission, nationwide. I have noticed dealers in Salt Lake City area and in Arizona seem to get Tacos with manual and list them on this website. Don’t know about 2024 availability.

This is fantastic, and wow, tacoma4g site is excellent. Great posts there.

I've been checking this spreadsheet periodically and it definitely appears not one single MT Tacoma 4th gen has been allocated or sold anywhere in Texas yet, nor even Louisiana or Oklahoma. Only a couple SRs in New Mexico. This would explain why my dealership was a bit in the dark about MT availability. I'm on the deposit list for one, they claim it might be ready in July. We'll see. I'm not driving out of state for this :)

Better than their 2023 deal at least. I'm on for 48 months at 4%. 810 credit rating.

You just have to put your name down on the waitlist, and wait.

Unfortunately manual Tacomas are hard to get.

Im a salesman at Toyota your best chance of getting something is putting an order in and praying. We got a pro allocated before a manual

Street Toyota in Amarillo, TX has a few MT models. Might be the first deliveries in Texas.

I just got an SR double cab 4wd manual in Kentucky, bowling green Toyota.

38,700 (no extra packages, just all weather floor mats mudguards and deck rail cleats…$3xx in options but those are just bare bone necessities imo…)

Nice! This would be my choice, especially since I would change things down the road. No sense in paying extra up front

Exactly, for me, it was either buy this or look for a pristine low mileage second gen. I refuse to pay 50k for a Tacoma.

Why do y'all keep calling it an order?

It's a wants list, a request to be notified and given first choice, and a deposit (to cover the trouble of #2).

And the deposit is usually once an allocated vehicle is earmarked, in my experience, but I know some dealers want it just to put you on a will-call list.

I get you all willing to spend your own money. But $38,700 for base model 2024 SR Tacoma, is still over priced. My 2023 OffRoad, manual, I got it for around $39,000. But take of it, some people really don’t give a crap, especially if not their own truck.:D

That is one of the reasons why I'm hesitant on the 4th gen. My '22 TRD Off-Road has a MSRP of $39k. A '24 Tacoma with the specs as close to my truck as possible is $6k more.

I'm not opposed to buying a 4th gen, but I'll only do it if my 3rd gen somehow shits the bed or got wrecked.

2nd gen best gen. Id buy another 2nd gen before getting a 3rd. Especially for 39k
