Finally got the mightyvac to work, the bleeder was loose in the slave after half a turn allowing the vacuum to pull all air instead of fluid.

Temp fix was teflon tape to allow me to get fluid, which worked. Im certain that the brake fluid will break that down in no time, so im going to just replace the slave.

I had the truck on ramps on the drivers side, and vacuum pumped 3'ish res fulls of fluid. Didnt see bubbles.

Test drive went about as usual, but now my ear is tuned to hear the input shaft coming to a stop. I can get reverse 80% of the time on first try if I wait 10 seconds. I havent been "locked" out of any gear while driving yet which is promising.

As far as the clutch pedal, does anyone got a link for what I need exactly? Are these assemblies really 300 bucks?

Type in your vin # here and check for TSB,s

That updated pedal was only updated to fix a squeky clutch pedal .
Even the upgraded pedal still makes noise
That being said , the bushings and levers will be new
You could always re-bushing your original clutch pedal

Have you tried double clutching ?
Clutch into neutral , and then clutch into reverse
