Hello! New here. I have a '99 Tacoma, my beloved Bandito, that won't start but has power. There's no turn over at all. Back story is yesterday I got stuck in the snow after an already really gnarly drive up a mountain. I feel terribly, as I don't think this truck can take drive like that anymore and it wasn't smart to rally it so hard. Only 2 wheel drive. Eventually got out of the snow and made it home after back tracking the gnarly dirt/rock mountain road. Went to start it today and it won't do it. I joined this forum as a total newbie and am hoping some kind folks might have the patience to walk me through what to check first and how to check. Thank you so much in advance for any help! Ready to learn.

What happens when you turn the key? Do you just hear a click? Nothing? Does the engine crank over?

The dash lights come on when I turn the key but there are no clicking sounds, just the dinging of the electrical coming on and the engine does not even attempt to turn over. Tried to jump it with a portable jump start and that didn't work. The battery should be fine. Please let me know what other information you need!

In the engine compartment there is a fuse/relay box. Take the cover off and look at the AM1 and AM2 fuses. If you have a test light and know how to use it, that is better.

Kudos Hannah for completing your profile!!!!!!!!

my guess is to inspect the 2 battery terminals and see if corrosion present
Could loosen/clean with wire brush and reconnect terminals(recommended)
    Or
Easy way pour coke(Pepsi works best)
    Over the terminals
