I used some redneck engineering to mount my traction boards and shovel.

I would gladly pay some one to UNINSTALL mine. Port installed and I did not want it.
Had one on my 2015 and it was a pain.

Did you remove the screen protector that came with it? I left mine on knowing that I may have to take it out if I needed to adjust my BeatSonic front camera wiring. I had to figure out how to keep the automatic camera function during low speeds and also be able to turn the front/rear camera on at anytime using the Android headunit camera widgets. If you look closely at the original picture top right corner, you can see a tiny air bubble from the factory screen protector. I guess I'll remove it once I start to really notice it.

IMHO, don’t think if it’s a factory spare there would be a lot to worry about. If it’s a full size spare that matches an aftermarket tire and wheel then I get it. My full size spare and fifth wheel reside in the bed. The factory spare is the decoy. :D

Edit: If that makes sense. :anonymous:

I just finished putting on the TruXedo tonneau cover I bought via the Amazon Warehouse. It is missing two small rubber pads which isn’t a big deal. The driver side utility track is another story. I’m not sure what the previous owner had installed but that one track is all out of whack. I had to remove it and use two crescent wrenches to get it so the brackets would slide in. I’m probably going to buy two new tracks because they’re both a bit wonky and not too expensive. Also, after I got the brackets shoved in and tried to install it back on the truck, I learned there is a top and bottom on those.

Such a simple little mod, but it makes a huge difference. Installed Toyota RAV4 radio knobs yesterday. The factory ones are terrible. Makes you wonder if any of the engineers actually tried to use them before signing off.

Leave the poor child alone you big bully!

We must all crawl before we can run a marathon. @king.cong.1119 needs to find some gravel in a mall parking lot, then can work up to a mud puddle left after a rainstorm. Then the person can move up ...

So far they have done well. Next month they get their off road test. They have recently had rain traction testing and did well with that. Mine aren't too noisy on road and that is a plus.
