lol. Had my fair share of off-roading and rock crawl with my tundra and for this Tacoma my expectation is different now. Nothing to prove here

What kind of Tacoma you got? The Tundra in your avatar doesn’t look like much of a rock crawler. Looks good and right comfortable though. Nice rig.

No, otherwise I wouldn't have had to install what I did.

 

I was in the market for a 2024, but had some concerns about the 4th gen. On top of those new first year concerns, there is no access cab option in the 2024. So, I decided to try to find a low mileage 2023 access cab. I found a 2.7L rear wheel drive with 9025 miles and yesterday I purchased it.

Unfortunately, I am on crutches right now. So, my efforts to "play truck" yesterday didn't really work. I come off the crutches next week, so the personalization will have to wait until then.

 

Thank you! I traded in my 2020 Tundra for a 2021 Tacoma TRD Offroad, the tundra added a rear locker, 2 inch lift front and 4 inch lift rear, 37 inch tires and armor all around. Was a beast on the trails. Broke my back and was not able to sustain the Offroad lifestyle/rig anymore. So had to sell.
I’d say this is very rock crawl at least for my standard haha.

No noticable green tinge. Love the way they look, and definitely help on the road with increased visibility from the yellow.

 

My new to me 2022 did not come with any attachment points for the rails in the bed, so I searched

Nothing crazy yet. Vacuumed the interior, washed the husky liner mats and cleaned the inside windshield

Thank you for the kind words, and yes, I am in the process of becoming a "minimalist" overlander/weekend camper if that is a thing. I find downsizing made my life easier in terms of every day usages and fuel economy, one benefit is I become more aware of keeping things organized and only carry the essentials since there is not a lot of room to throw everything in the truck any more, its more fun this way i think.

 

Did not notice a screen protector on there.

 

Those are the mini tie downs (the truck comes with the 4 regular tie downs that fit in the side rails). You can get OEM ones or cheaper copies. I use the minis for connecting my small pocket cargo net or for bags.
