I’ve been reading through the threads I need a break. I just had 5100/OME 884 w/ general springs HD leaf pack installed on my ‘13 trd sport access cab. I still have life left on the master craft coursers I bought on discount last year but they aren’t very good in the snow. There’s a good discount going on right now for dynapro AT2. Here’s the choices

    Sullivan tire-
    255/75/17 SL $160
    245/75/17 E load $172

    Tire rack-
    245/70/17 E load $183
    245/75/17 SL $171

do the 245s look really cooked? It’s so hard to tell from pictures. And also is E load that horrific? Was really considering those 255s just not sure I want P rated as I do occasionally get into the woods and load up firewood. Nothing ridiculous but it’s nice have a a little more rubber.
    Any input is appreciated

Definitely go up a size to match the lift. 245/75R17 if you want E but skinny to save on weight.

Or 265/70R17 is my suggestion for SL load. Both are one size up.

Do not put 245/70R17 on the truck, it will look awful.

yes I wanted to go up a size for sure. I was going to go with 265/70 but no deals to be had like the 245/75. I’m just concerned the E load will be ridiculous overkill, or potentially taxing everything unnecessarily (what I’ve read in some threads).

I run 245 winter standard load and e summer. It is taxing. I wish I went smaller size but I wanted bigger and more durable.

I beat the crap out of my vehicles so it still makes sense.

Just making my 2 cents. If E go skinny, if SL go 265.

If you had to pick only 1, would you go 245/75 P or E, or 265/70 P
