Drilling gel coat/glass boats. It's really not super hard. Just drill..




Then hone.. this is the important part. You don't want the screw threads to catch the gel coat and chip it. Especially when the boat costs more than your house

My buddy has been retired for several years and he gets bored; he had a really old barn on his property that was falling down so he tore it down.....he used some of the barnwood to build this on his pond dam.




Now he has a proper porch to be bored on.

 

My parents live on the other side of this pond. Their neighbor took these yesterday. It’s eating a turtle. It was after their dog.
They’ve been seeing two for about a week.

My buddy (that I just posted about) saw an eagle grab a bass out of his pond last year, he said the bass was way bigger than any he had ever caught there.

 

They are such magnificent creatures. Majestic

He painted some of the boards white to make it look like one of those Montana cabins. They're a lil bit too wide, but still.

Yeah, that fed protection thing prolly aint nothing to take too lightly.

 

I can tell you from personal experience that at 3000 feet AGL, an Eagle with their wings spread is wider than a BK117 helicopter. I can also tell you the crew and patient in the back did not enjoy the pilot pulling back on the stick to avoid an unnatural mating of machine and bird.
