VA/MD/DE area driveshaft shop to make a custom 1 piece driveshaft

Hello!

I am in Rockville MD and looking to find a driveshaft shop within a few hours distance that can make a 1 piece driveshaft for a 2006 2WD Prerunner 5' double cab 4.0L V6.

 

Did you ever get this done? East Coast Driveline is in NY. Not sure how far away you are, but they make custom aluminum, carbon fiber, and steel driveshafts.

@Revelations I had not yet but with your additional info, I’ll contact them in the next couple days to see what they say! I have heard with the 2wd double the driveshaft is so long that it would be too heavy for a single piece, but if they make aluminum or carbon fiber, that might work.

 

Is A1 still around? They're in Baltimore.

 

JDS Enterprises in Virginia ended up making me one, A1 wouldn't make mine since the pre-runner shaft was too long for them to be comfortable doing so
