I’ve got a set of all new brakes just waiting to put them on. I’m at 82k miles, I’ve always ran 33s, and I have full armor. I had some brake fade a little while back but haven’t noticed anything recently on the brakes wearing out. Just wondering what others are seeing out of their oem brakes?

I had a front braking vibration at 40K miles. I normally like to stay with OEM but because of the vibration I went with PowerStop and very happy.

My fronts started vibrating at about 52K, new pads at that point. Had dealer change them out. All has been good after that.

I replaced the front pads and had the rotors turned on my 2013 just before trading it in at 140k. I did my wife’s 2015 at the same time but replaced her rotors at 80k. But only because some knucklehead tire guy air wrench’d the piss outta the lug nuts and warped them. Wife, was pregnant at the time. Took her and a torque wrench over there made a big stink. They bought us rotors!

near infinite amount of variables, including terrain and driving style. My sister in law drives Gas-brake-gas-brake 100% of the time, there is zero coasting. My GF barks at me, because I drive "too slow" and don't speed up to red lights. So you may get answers from 25k-125k.

I have gotten over 100,000 miles out of the OEM pads on the last 5 Toyotas we have owned; two Camrys, 2 Tundras, that towed travel trailers, and my current Tacoma that has only 55,000 on it.

I can’t stand people who drive like that. One of my pet peeves…that and people who barge into an elevator before allowing others to get out.

I took a road trip with her down to my parent's lake house,,,, about 15 years ago, that was the last time I road with her in the driver's seat. I was about to tell her I needed a pitstop and take the wheel or find another ride. It was that stretch of I-70 that is two lanes through mid-Missouri, so I had over an hour of not making eye contact with all the other annoyed motorists :anonymous:

Haha I know the FIPs personally too! They're over here all the time filling their tanks, and loading up at Cosco/Sam's.

I love the feeling of coasting into a red light you see at a distance and have it turn green as your approaching it, never having to even pump the brake.

Even better is the feeling that the twenty-something who blasted past you 1/2 mile back was sitting at the same light for a full minute before the green.:crazy::facepalm:
