Is there a trick for installing JD Fab upper control arms? I’ve just installed Bilstein 8112 front coil overs and I’m having trouble fitting the jd fab uca ball joint into the stock spindle. I’m unsure if it because I’ve just installed the new coil overs or if it’s not seeding correctly for another reason. I only have the one photo but I’ll take more later tonight. There’s a decent gap between the ball joint and the spindle and it looks a lot more separated than my friends SPC versions.

Looks normal. There needs to be a gap to allow the UCA to flex around the spindle. Too small of a gap and they’ll make contact and could have catastrophic failure. Total chaos and dirt king are the same way

If you have their EMF uniball you will see that the taper is seated in the knuckle ok like it should and you will have a straight shank sticking out. This is normal.

A ball joint has a boot which covers the gap you see.Uniball_Raptor_6861_1024x1024_29dab029-8c19-437c-ae0d-61b3719d6c4c_530x.jpg
