It's been a minute since I posted here but I'm wondering if anyone has seen this before.

I recently had the clutch replaced (>10k miles ago). When I got it back I was a little disappointed - the clutch was notchy, shuttered bad and the engagement range was tiny. I had the shop install the Phoenix Friction kevlar clutch with OEM pressure plate, throwout bearing, slave, clutch fork. The flywheel was resurfaced by a machine shop that I trust.

Fast foward a few thousand miles and I had bled the heck out the clutch by that point and it still felt funny but marginally better. It shifted hard but I thought the master cylinder could've been worn out by now (it had 185k miles on it at that point).

After a few thousand more miles it barely gets into gear. I have to throw it into 3rd then 1st to be able to take off and reverse works only occasionally. I replaced the master cylinder because I thought that was the issue in the beginning - no change at all. The truck shakes much more at this point and the clutch is making a racket.

So now I'm here. I took the peep hole cover off of the bell housing to just take a look at it and this is what its doing:

I can't say I looked at it when the OEM clutch was in there but the videos to not do it justice as to how much that thing wobbles. I'm now thinking the TOB is toast and either the pressure plate and/or the flywheel are either out of balance or loose.

I'm taking it back to the shop that did it to see what's going on. I stopped by a month or so ago to the shop to have him check on the noise and he thought the input shaft bearing may be going out and the clutch master was bad. Replaced one and I can see the input shaft not moving at all in the video with that thing wobbling all over.

    Thoughts?

Sounds like the transmission has to come back off again. Something could be coming apart.

I'm not sure swapping out the friction disc for something more aggressive is a good idea when everything else in there is stock. You're not going to gain any more clamping force, just a disc that is more grabby and jerky. Is this a daily driver?

Sometimes when it feels like the master cylinder is going bad (have to push down farther to get into gear) it's actually the clutch unit itself. The spring fingers on the pressure plate are getting pushed correctly by the slave, but the fingers are worn out so they don't actually provide the fulcrum needed to release the disc

Take another video with a helper pushing the clutch pedal, I'll bet the clutch fork is moving plenty far..
