Make a wood platform that replaces the hydraulic jack's swivel plate, to enable one-person installation/removal:

For a front bumper to sit level, you'll probably want to build up a V-shaped cradle on the platform.

You didn't have to take off your bumper to donate to me. That's so sweet.

huh. well ok maybe i will do that instead of my plan which was struggle for 10 times longer than i had to while scratching and scraping the F out of everything trying to get the bumper in place before finally getting it bolted up and realizing i have to take it back off cause i forgot to do something i had to do before bolting it up... then do it all again.

follow my channel for more bumper install tips.

i run 255/16/85 but my rims are 16x8 but -12mm offset. so if he's running 0 offset, shouldn't be any issues

3" lift. $10K in TRD options. Richie's semi-hidden bumper, and soon his Elka suspension
Does it sit flush with the bed? Do you have a pic?

Yes, it’s a 04 Crown Victoria LX, it bought off the showroom floor by my grandfather. He passed in 2022, I just got the chance to buy it from my aunt. It’s got 230k, but it was meticulously maintained so it’s in about as good a shape as possible for a 20 year old Ontario car. It’ll be my new daily driver for when I don’t need to do truck things- better on gas (believe it or not, 9L/100km) and much more comfy.

Looks like a merc because it’s a very oddly optioned crown Vic. All of the options ticked off including the premium paint which was usually a mercury thing.

Only things it doesn’t have is leather seats, handling and performance package (this included a LSD and rear air suspension, so actually a bit of a blessing I don’t have it), and a digital dash (which were known to fail, so another blessing in disguise).

Just finishing up with the OF4WD meeting and we were pretty much used as an example for the adopt a trail.

    Great job everyone!

Also, for those running the Minden hydro line or anything in that area, tread super lightly as there is some land use issues going on with the provincial government and the park in that area. Huge money being spent, so tread lightly and follow all the guidelines to ensure that trail does not get shut down.
