New Member Mistake

Hello Tacoma World,

Hoping you guys can help me out. I replaced my interior lights with LEDs (great upgrade BTW) from Diode Dynamics. I messed up installing the plastic lens on my driver side map light. My local dealers claim the only way to get the lens is to order a full overhead console replacement for $515.

Does anyone have a lead on where I could possibly find a replacement? Google has not been helpful unfortunately.

I would visit a local junkyard/pick and pull and see if there's any tacomas there who have the part you can pull. May be some members on here who might have a spare

Or you could just go with the Meso Customs which don't use a lens..but would suck to have to buy a new part to fix your replacement

I know this thread is a couple of months old, but did you end up finding the lens you needed? I may have one if you still need it.

 

Go Meso. You can even get red if you want.

 

I have not gotten it yet. I’ve been calling junk yards trying to get an overhead console and have yet to find one. I would be interested if you had one.
