Thanks for the advice guys…I always considered getting a refund but I was worried about something going bad on the truck later on as a result of the water leakage so I just wanted to have them on record for having botched the install 6 times. Went in person again today and requested a refund…waiting to get my money back now so I can take it to an independent shop. I would advise everyone on here to stay away from Safelite…this whole process has been a nightmare and they could care less. If anyone has a reputable shop in the Los Angeles area I’d appreciate the information.

I was hoping to hear back from you... I went to Safelite to get a windshield quote today after having already read your original post. I specifically asked about the warranty and leaks etc.. The answer was literally "it depends". I chuckled. Regardless, I'm still shopping around.

Sorry I’ve been super busy trying to get this sorted out with work and other stuff in between. I’d honestly just stay away and do an independent shop…if I could do it all over again that’s what I’d do…take it to someone with years of experience, not a company that employees any abled body off the street and doesn’t train them properly before letting them work on customer cars.
