    Hello,

The head gasket gave out yesterday after 24+ years as my daily driver. I'm the only owner the truck has 279,000 miles on it. I intend to get it fixed. The truck is still in stock condition with no modifications.

In your opinion would you fix it?

Well, like most questions in life, the answer is usually "it depends". But the short answer is yes. It may not be a cheap repair, but do you want to start loan payments again and/or pull a large chunk of money from savings?

20240301_175407.jpg It's a Texas truck, so it's rust free. Personally I think it still looks nice after 24 years. I have people inquiring if I want to sell it every so often.

I'll post some photos later today.

I would fix it. I had a 2000 PreRunner that I sold in 2022; great truck but it was time to move on.

I just got my truck back after the head gasket work. Now I'm getting a P0710 transmission sensor "A" circuit fault. Any advice?
