Personally I love working on suspensions. I want to inform everyone else with these shocks. I understand they can be defective. They must be defective because the 2016 units were fine until 70k with zero issues still.
the passenger side is looking great and drives great still. Maybe that one will blow soon… I once bought some monroe quick struts around 2018 for a little Jeep Patriot and it took about 20 miles of driving before the front end started to bottom out a and smack the tires as we went into bumps. Gotta go OEM, but even that is a risk nowadays.

Glad to know that the OME/ARBs had no issues. I want to put some OME on soon hehe. Love the stiff handling that they give on the road.

I really liked the way that sports shocks road on my Tacoma before I swapped for some Billys also. They did not leak, but the ride just got slightly rougher once they broke in.
We were also towing a 2200 pound boat around all summer too, so maybe the shocks didn’t break in nicely.

So the shock is taken off, it won’t compress more than an inch before it bottoms out… also leaking a ton of fluid.
Going to send an email to the warranty department and see if they can replace it or fix it.
