    Just got off a zoom call for the yacht club board of governors (which I’m part of) on an hour and a quarter discussion on whether to buy or build 4 removable steel pilings. For the love of God, this should have been a 15 minute call. These folks must be lonely and want to someone to hold their hand… Rant over (for now)

    I seconded a motion to go with the purchase option when another board member blurted out the motion in frustration. The vote passed. This was a special meeting’. I get to do this all over again a week from tomorrow for the regular monthly meeting.

    Good evening gang. What an unbelievable shit show in my own back yard this morning. The loss of life is so sad. A life long friend is a Baltimore county Po-Po, he was telling myself and another lifelong friend in a group text that there are 20 vehicles that went into the 50' of water. No official mention of that yet.

    I can remember riding over that bridge with my grand daddy when it opened. Now the beltway is effectively not a beltway anymore and the inlet to the Port of Baltimore is blocked for shipping.
